Overview

Jerry Longo's Meatballs and Martinis offers an authentic Italian dining experience perched on the 6th floor of Bally’s Casino at 1900 Pacific Ave, Atlantic City. This upscale restaurant marries traditional Italian flavors with a vibrant atmosphere that transports guests straight into the heart of Little Italy. From the moment you enter, the dim lighting and vintage Italian films playing on large screens create an inviting ambiance steeped in nostalgia and charm.

The real star here is, unsurprisingly, the namesake meatballs. Giant, flavorful, and bathed in a rich, perfectly seasoned sauce, these meatballs come with a side of creamy ricotta that elevates the dish beyond the ordinary. The kitchen’s attention to freshness and balance extends across the menu, with highlights like the tender Chicken Parmigiana, a sophisticated twist on the classic marinara, and the linguine with white clam sauce featuring fresh little neck clams kissed by garlic and white wine.

Jerry Longo’s menu, though intentionally concise, covers all the Italian essentials with finesse. Noteworthy starters include lightly fried calamari prepared “Rhode Island Style” and housemade fresh mozzarella that speaks to the quality and care invested in every bite. Pizza Al Taglio, especially the Bronx pepperoni, offers a perfect shareable dish, while gnocchi and other pasta selections satisfy cravings for traditional comfort food crafted with skill.

What sets Jerry Longo's apart is its signature martinis. The cocktails maintain a perfect balance of creativity and classic appeal. Standouts like the "Life is Beautiful" and the secret-recipe “9 Streeter” martini—infused with botanist gin, melon vodka, and lemon Italian ice—are refreshing complements to the robust flavors on the plate. Attentive, knowledgeable servers, such as Ernest and Dean, enhance the experience, ensuring drinks are flowing and plates are cleared with care.

The location within Bally’s Casino on the 6th floor adds a dynamic flair to the evening. Guests enjoy sweeping views of the Atlantic City Boardwalk while being enveloped in an intimate setting that celebrates Italian culture through old movies and music from the 50s and 60s. This ambiance, combined with thoughtful service and expertly prepared food, targets discerning diners seeking more than just a meal—those looking for a memorable night out with a taste of Italy’s finest traditions.

Jerry Longo’s Meatballs and Martinis is the ideal destination for couples, small groups, and anyone craving genuine Italian cuisine paired with inventive cocktails in a stylish yet cozy environment. Whether it’s a casual dinner or a special occasion, this spot offers an immersive experience that’s as much about the atmosphere as it is about the food. For those visiting Atlantic City, it’s a must-try for a slice of Italy without leaving the boardwalk.

Food and service were AMAZING. We had the best time at Jerry Longo's this weekend! We tried every single appetizer on the menu lol and they were all super tasty. Literally have nothing but praise for this establishment. The meatballs were everything they advertise and I had "Life is Beautiful" martini's which were so good I asked for the recipe before we left . I would recommend Longo's if you want a true Italian experience. The music, the ambiance, the movies on the screens around the restaurant... Everything was on theme. Loved it. Highly recommend.

We discovered Jerry Longo’s Meatballs & Martinis about 5 years ago and have been a regular at least once a month ever since. It’s located in Bally’s Casino offering double the fun on a night out. If you are looking for GREAT Italian food look no further! Of course spaghetti and meatballs and martinis are their specialties. All their martinis are great, but we particularly enjoy their 9 Streeter. It’s a secret recipe that includes: Lemon italian ice infused with botanist gin, grey goose melon vodka, italicus liqueur, citrus, agave, and lemon bitters. For appetizers, we enjoy fried calamari. For entrees our favorites are: Veal Milanese, Eggplant Parmigiana, Salmon Romano and their Bronx (Pepperoni) Pizza. While the food is most important in any restaurant, the ambience is a close second. There are several large screen televisions that play old Italian movies from the 50s and 60s with music from the same time period. The lighting is low and romantic. The service is second to none! Jerry Longo’s is the closest to a night out in Little Italy that you will find. Try it, we hope you will like it, as much as my wife and I do!

OMGoodness!! The giant meatballs are superb. The flavor and the sauce with the side of ricotta was so so delicious. Very tasty. My hubby had the linguine and white clam sauce. You can taste how fresh the little neck clams were and the garlic clam sauce with white wine was made to perfection. Our server was Dean. He kept the martinis flowing

Jerry Longo’s is an excellent up-scale restaurant at Bally’s. I ordered the chicken parmigiana and I really loved it. The sauce was more sophisticated than your typical marinara sauce and blended in very well with the tender chicken. The service was also quick and our server made great conversation. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very pleasant with views great views of the Boardwalk and oldies music playing in the background. The prices are high, but this is Atlantic City and the overall experience was well worth it. This is a great restaurant overall and it has my full recommendation.

You absolutely must visit Longo's when you're in Atlantic City. The atmosphere is great, especially on the weekends when they have a late-night DJ. The food is phenomenal in my opinion. I've been three times so far and I haven't had a bad meal. The crab spaghetti and carbonara were great. Large portions! Their Manhattan is also dangerously good! Oh.. and the chocolate brule and Italian donuts are also really great! Go see for yourself...
